Volunteer in 2024
SHM football club needs you!
Every team requires the following volunteers:
· parent volunteer coach/es
· manager
· game leaders each week (similar to a referee- no experience required!)
· scorers for Saturday games
Volunteering for your child’s team is a rewarding job and they love to see you involved! Volunteer coaches will receive coaching plans as well as hands on assistance through every coaching session from our professional coaching partners. You do not need experience to coach, just a great attitude, enthusiasm, and energy to inspire the kids to have fun. Or you may wish to use your excellent organisation skills and be team manager. Contact us for more info. Of course, all volunteers will have to have a WWC check.

Professional Coaching Partner - InspireSoccerUK
SHM employs Football coaches in a collaborative partnership with our volunteer coaches at training. Two experienced professional coaches will assist at each training session and rotate through each of the teams. The aim of the partnership is to provide training programs to supplement both our players and volunteer coaches football development.
Our key goal through the partnership is to support and strengthen the technical foundation for all players and volunteer coaches within SHM.
Uniform
SHM Football uniforms have been designed to be unisex. The shorts can be used across Basketball and Football.
All registered 2024 Kindy players will receive a full SHM FC playing kit, including jersey, shorts and socks. This will be ordered once you have completed your registration.
For all other new players to SHM Football you will need to order a uniform through trybooking via this link: https://www.trybooking.com/CNKKP
It is a NSFA requirement that all children who take the field must wear shin guards.

Game Format - Rules
MiniRoos football encompasses Under 6’s to Under 11’s, and is a nationwide initiative.
As a player progresses through the MiniRoos age groups the field size increases as well as player numbers, preparing them eventually for the full-size field version of 11v11 football that we see being played in the A-League every week.
